Treatment Options

  • Clinical Results of Trigger Finger Release Using Ultrasound Guidance (TFR-US) In Multiple Practice Settings
  • Sequential Intrarticular Corticosteroid And Hyaluronic Acid Provides Significant Knee Osteoarthritis Symptom Improvement
  • Conservative Management of Knee Osteoarthritis Utilizing Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate
  • Intradiscal BMAC Injections Reduce Pain for Degenerative Disc Disease
  • Hydrodissection Treatment of Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
  • Percutaneous Treatment of Subacromial Impingement, A Retrospective Review
  • Stem Cell Treatment
Stem Cell Treatments involve the injection of adult stem cells collected from your own bone marrow into a targeted area with the use of ultrasound guidance. The injected stem cells initiate the body’s natural healing process at the site of abnormality to repair and regenerate damaged tissue. Most Stem Cell Treatments require 30-45 minutes and are performed in an outpatient setting using only local anesthesia. Patients usually experience a steady decrease in their symptoms during the first 12 weeks with near complete symptom relief 6-12 months after the procedure. Stem Cells can treat: Labral Tears Arthritis Fracture Non-Union Rotator Cuff Tears Plantar Fasciitis Degenerative Disc Disease Achilles Pain Tendinopathy Tennis Elbow Partial Tears Meniscal Tears Learn More
  • PRP Treatment
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatment is the injection of platelets, derived from your own blood, into the targeted area of abnormality. The mechanism of PRP is growth factor stimulated healing. Platelets contain numerous growth factors critical to the natural healing process. PRP stimulates the healing response within soft tissues such as muscle, ligaments, and tendons. Over the last decade, PRP has been recognized for its potential in treating both chronic and acute musculoskeletal injuries and is popular among professional athletes. PRP can treat: Baker's Cysts Seromas Ganglion Cysts Overuse Injuries Plantar Fasciitis Rotator Cuff Tears Achilles Pain Tendinopathy Tennis Elbow Partial Tears Meniscal Tears Labral Tears PRP Brochure
  • Carpal Tunnel Treatment
Carpal Tunnel Release relieves pressure on the median nerve by transecting the transverse carpal ligament, creating more space for the nerves and tendons. This micro-invasive procedure can be done in our outpatient facility with the use of the Sonex Health SX-One Microknife and ultrasound guidance. The procedure takes minutes to complete, with a small wrist incision closed without sutures. Patients often find relief 24-48 hours post procedure and can return to activities they enjoy within 3-6 days. Learn more about the Sonex Health SX-One Microknife, and its influence on the Carpal Tunnel Release Procedure below. • Trigger Finger Release Treatment
“Trigger finger” syndrome is the common name for stenosing tenosynovitis, a painful condition caused by a progressive restriction of normal tendon motion which interferes with the ability to bend and straighten the fingers. We are one of the first locations in the world to offer this innovative approach using real-time ultrasound guidance and Sonex Health's UltraGuideTFR. Real-time ultrasound guidance allows Dr. McGinley to see all critical anatomy prior to making an incision and enables him to guide the device while performing the procedure through a much smaller incision. Because this technique is less invasive, most patients are able to return to work and normal activities faster than those who undergo traditional TFR surgery. Learn more about the Sonex Health UltraGuideTFR below. Sonex Health Press Release
  • Corticosteroid Injections
Corticosteroid Injections are often used to treat pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, tendinopathies and bursitis. Patients typically experience significant pain relief 5-7 days after a treatment. These injections are typically performed using ultrasound guidance to ensure precise placement of the medication. Corticosteroids can treat: Baker's Cysts Seromas Ganglion Cysts Overuse Injuries Plantar Fasciitis Rotator Cuff Tears Achilles Pain Tendinopathy Tennis Elbow Partial Tears Meniscal Tears Labral Tears
  • Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid works by acting as a cushion and lubricant in the joints and other tissues by trapping water inside tissue cells and joints. Dr. McGinley injects joints for painful arthritis and other severe joint pain in specialized cases. Hyaluronic Acid can treat: Arthritis Joint Pain
  • Bone Spur Removal
Bone spurs (osteophytes) are hard bumps of extra bone that form on the ends of bones, often around joints. The most common cause is damage from osteoarthritis or degenerative joint disease. Bone spurs can be treated with a non-invasive technology, TENEX TXBone, that applies high frequency vibrations that remove the spur. Bone Spur Removal can treat: Painful Bone Spurs Plantar Fasciitis Shoulder Impingement Achilles Spurs Elbow Spurs
  • ESWT Treatment
Extracorporeal Shock Wave Therapy (ESWT) is an FDA-cleared, non-surgical, non-invasive, treatment that applies high energy acoustic energy to the tissue from the skin surface. ESWT is typically used to treat chronic tendinopathies. ESWT can treat: Plantar Fasciitis Tennis Elbow Achilles Tendinopathy Patellar Tendinopathy
  • Botulinum Toxin Injections
Botulinum toxin has many uses in sports medicine and chronic pain. The toxin causes a temporary and reversible paralysis of muscle by blocking internal receptors. Botulinum toxin can be used to treat spastic paralysis, recurrent muscle spasms or functional compression of nerves/blood vessels. In sports medicine this can be used to help relax overactive muscles and return normal function. Learn More
  • Hydrodissection
Hydrodissection is the process of injecting fluid into the area with the use of ultrasound guidance to release specific anatomy from the surrounding tissue, potentially resulting in decreased pain. This technique can be used to treat symptomatic scar tissue follow surgery as well as chronic local nerve pain. Hydrodissection can treat: Scar Tissue from Surgery Chronic Nerve Pain Tendon Pain & Inflammation Ulnar Nerve Entrapment
  • MVP Treatment
McGinley Vascular Pressure Treatment is a patented procedure addressing functional vascular compression. Dr. McGinley is currently the only provider in the world offering this cutting-edge technique. With ultrasound and CT guidance, botulinum toxin is injected into a small segment of muscle that is compressing blood flow. The muscle is locally paralyzed allowing blood flow to resume normally. The patient is able to walk out of the office immediately after the procedure is completed.
